The structure of thrust ball bearings is relatively simple and mainly consists of several key components. The following are the main structures and components of thrust ball bearings:

Inner Ring: The inner ring is the inner part of the bearing, usually a ring-shaped component that is located on the inside of the bearing and is mounted directly on the shaft. The inner ring bears the force from the axial load.

Outer Ring: The outer ring is the outer part of the bearing, usually a ring-shaped component, which is located on the outside of the bearing. The outer ring bears the axial load from the external structure.

Rolling Elements (Balls or Rollers): Rolling elements are the core component of thrust ball bearings. They are located between the inner and outer rings and serve to reduce friction under axial loads. Rolling elements are usually cylindrical or spherical in shape, depending on the bearing type.

Raceways (Roller Tracks or Fairway): The rolling elements roll on the inner and outer rings. The raceways are grooves or projections used to guide the rolling elements. There are corresponding raceways on the inner and outer rings.

Cage: The cage is used to maintain the relative position of the rolling elements to ensure that they are evenly distributed and avoid collision with each other. Cages are usually made of metal or plastic.

Sealing and Lubrication: Thrust ball bearings may include seals to prevent dust and impurities from entering the bearing interior, as well as lubricants to reduce friction and cool the bearing.

Mounting Holes and Adjusting Screws (Some Models): Some thrust ball bearings have mounting holes and adjusting screws to facilitate installation and alignment of the bearing.

 

The structure and components of a thrust ball bearing can vary depending on the model and application, but the above parts form the basic elements of most thrust ball bearings. These components work together to enable the bearing to withstand and transfer axial loads, reduce friction and provide support.
